Emor – The Real Peace (5767)

"וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, אֱמֹר אֶל-הַכֹּהֲנִים בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן; וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם, לְנֶפֶשׁ לֹא-יִטַּמָּא בְּעַמָּיו."
"And the LORD said unto Moses: Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them: There shall none defile himself for the dead among his people"

"וַיֹּאמֶר יְקוָק אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, אֱמֹר אֶל-הַכֹּהֲנִים בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן; וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם, לְנֶפֶשׁ לֹא-יִטַּמָּא בְּעַמָּיו."
"And the LORD said unto Moses: Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them: There shall none defile himself for the dead among his people"

The Zohar ask the question "what is the point of saying "unto the priests the sons of Aaron".  Isn\’t it obvious that the priests are the sons of Aaron, and answers that the instructions are for the sons of Aaron and not the sons of Levi, because Aaron is the beginning of the line of all the Kohanim (priests) in the world.

The Holy One Blessed be He, selected him to create peace in the world. Aaron\’s ways elevated him to that position and duty because all his life he was working to bring peace in the world. Because of that The Holy one elevated him to the priesthood in order to bring peace to the ones that serve the Holy on the upper levels. By his work, Aaron cause a unification of The Holy one and the Shechina and peace is made in all the worlds. This is the reason it said "אֱמֹר אֶל-הַכֹּהֲנִים בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן" (: Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron).

In my humble opinion, the beginning of the parasha is the point where the G-d made a genetic change (signature) in the Kohanim\’s DNA. It is known the Kohanim carry a special "Kohen Gene".
There are three words in the verse with the root of "אמר", which implies a higher level transfer of light (like in the story of creation that was made with ten saying of "וַיֹּאמֶר").
"וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם, לְנֶפֶשׁ" and you speak to them, "לְנֶפֶשׁ", to the soul, "לֹא-יִטַּמָּא בְּעַמָּיו" shall not be impure among the people.
Aaron and his sons and all the Kohanim that followed became channels to draw the Light of the Creator from the upper to the lower. The Kohanim have strict rules of behavior. When examining those rules closely we find that they are made to keep the purity and not to negatively affect the DNA of the Kohen. In (21:5) we read "וּבִבְשָׂרָם–לֹא יִשְׂרְטוּ, שָׂרָטֶת" (shall not make any cuttings in their flesh). A Cut in body affects the DNA of the cells and leaves a visible scar (even if the cell renews itself, the \’memory\’ of the cut remains!!!…B"H I\’ll discuss this issue in another article).
Verse (21:8) says "וְקִדַּשְׁתּוֹ–כִּי-אֶת-לֶחֶם אֱלֹהֶיךָ, הוּא מַקְרִיב; קָדֹשׁ, יִהְיֶה-לָּךְ–כִּי קָדוֹשׁ, אֲנִי יְקוָק מְקַדִּשְׁכֶם" (Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God; he shall be holy unto thee; for I the LORD, who sanctify you, am holy.) The English translation of the verse, which copied form the Jewish Publication Society version (1917) does not or can not translate the true meaning of the text in Hebrew. This verse sums up the essence of the Kohen as unique "קָדֹשׁ, יִהְיֶה-לָּךְ", his duty "כִּי-אֶת-לֶחֶם אֱלֹהֶיךָ, הוּא מַקְרִיב" and the fact that G-d made him (the Kohanim) so ("אֲנִי יְהוָה מְקַדִּשְׁכֶם"). We explained in the commentary to the portion of Shemini that "קָדֹשׁ" is the connection of upper and lower (Binah and Malchut). This root appears four times in this verse to represent the full connection to the light (as in the four letters name "יקוק\’).
It is known that when the Kohanim served in the Holy Temple and drew the light to the world, there were no wars. The whole world was in peace like the time of King Solomon. His name "שלמה־המלך" comes from the root of "שלם", which means whole or complete and peace. When you read "שלום" (peace) is the same as "שלם" (complete, without any lack).
Unfortunately as time passed the Kohanim did not keep the strict purity required from them from the Torah and a corruption happened in their DNA. This damage to the channel affected the amount of Light the Kohen could draw to the world, and it wasn\’t enough to keep and sustain complete peace. (Can you imagine how big is the lack of Light is in our days that we have so many wars, nature disasters and not even good leaders for the nations of the world…).
The destruction of the first Temple happened because of hatred for no reason, which is a peace breaker, and if there is no peace the Light can not flow to the world. The second temple was built but couldn\’t hold on long because the DNA corruption was too deep. Many Kohanim died while trying to draw the Light to the world during the Yom HaKippurim service in the Holy Temple. If the channel is not pure enough, it can\’t hold the light.
The Kohen was instructed not to connect to death of any kind. (Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.) .Again, the English translation maybe close to the words but far from the meaning. I\’ll translate it here in a way that it will be closer to the Hebrew meaning. "He shall not leave the Temple so he won\’t create un-holiness (" וְלֹא יְחַלֵּל", is from the root of "חול" and "חלל" (space) to the Temple of his G-d because he was anointed with the blessing of G-d, I am G-d.
The simple understanding from reading this verse is that if a Kohen leaves the Temple, he brings negativity to the Temple of G-d. This is a little bit strange because if he is out of the Temple then how come he can create blemish or un-holiness to the Temple of G-d.
The purpose of the existence of the Temple is (was) to provide a tool for the Kohen to draw the Light to the world. (Remember that in this world we (genesis 1) "אשר־ברא־אלקים־לעשות" must work to earn any benefit of the light).
The Kohen is the Holy channel of Light and, as explained earlier, every action the Kohen is involved with affects his channel. He must stay pure and holy to use the G-d given tool to draw the Light.
Many know the great Tzaddik, Rabbi Yisrael Abu Chatzeirah, the "Baba Sali",  of blessed memory. His name translated to "Praying Father", he prayed for many people and created many amazing miracles. He kept his purity in many ways. He testified on himself that the fact that he never trimmed his beard kept his channels open. He kept the purity of his eyes. His head was completely covered so it would be easy to stay away from unnecessary and distracting images. He didn\’t look at women\’s faces.
By keeping his purity he could be a channel for the Light to bless and pray to heal others. He was the one that re-opened the synagogue of the Ari in Safed that was closed for many years. People that try to enter and connect to the holiness of the Ari couldn\’t do that without getting gravely sick or even die when entering the synagogue.
Now we can easily understand verse 21:21 "כָּל-אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-בּוֹ מוּם, מִזֶּרַע אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן–לֹא יִגַּשׁ, לְהַקְרִיב אֶת-אִשֵּׁי יְקוָק:  מוּם בּוֹ–אֵת לֶחֶם אֱלֹקָיו, לֹא יִגַּשׁ לְהַקְרִיב" (no man of the seed of Aaron the priest, that hath a blemish, shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire; he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.).

If any person from the seed of the Kohen has a flawed DNA, "מוּם מִזֶּרַע" then he can not serve the Holy. This is also the reason why the same kind of people can not get "Aliah" (going up, make elevation) to the Torah. Whoever gets Aliah should meditate to be a channel to draw the Light of the Torah reading for the whole congregation. In Shabbat we have seven "Aliot" to connect to the Seven Sefirot (Chessed (Kohen), Gevurah (Levi), Tiferet (Yisrael), Netzach, Hod, Yesod and Malchut). The first three create the vessel for the light; the first letter of Kohen כ, Levi ל and Yisrael י, create the word "כלי", which means vessel.

Every Kadish and prayer includes the blessings of "עושה־שלום־במרומיו־הוא־ברחמיו־יעשה־שלום־עלינו־ועל־כל־עמו־ישראל" or "המברך־את־עמו־בשלום", which comes close to or at the end of the prayer.
In the future we will have a complete peace with the intervention of G-d. "עושה־שלום־במרומיו", G-d that is making peace (=completion) above , "יעשה־שלום־עלינו". Will make peace on us and the whole nation of Yisrael.
The parasha is mentioning the major holidays that the Kohen need to perform a special service at the Temple.

B"H we\’ll merit soon seeing the Holy Temple and the Kohanim doing their work to bring peace for the whole world. Amen.

Shemini – Part 1 of 2

Shemini in Hebrew "The Eighth" is referred to the level of Binah in Kabbalah. This is where all creation is "fed" and sustained. We have the Eighth day of holiday in Sukkoth, which is after Rosh Hashanah and eighth day of Pesach, which is after Rosh Hashanah (for the months) and they are exactly six months apart. After Pesach we count the Omer for seven weeks and on the first day after that, the fiftieth day and the first day of the eighth week we receive the gift of the Torah on Mount Sinai. For a Mitzvah, a couple is connected after seven days of purity of the woman. The Brit of a new born is made on the eighth day.

Those few examples tell us about the importance of the Eighth level and the ability to connect to Binah.

Moshe was serving in the Holy Tabernacle for seven days and on the eighth day (that was the first day of Nissan and the first day of the year) he was ordered to transfer the duties to Aharon. That was the day of the connection to Binah.

Nadav and Avihu were serving in the process of cleansing (sacrifices) Aharon and the nation from impurities and to be ready for the revelation of light of the Holy tabernacle.

They saw the fire that came from G-d to burn the sacrifices ( 9:24)
"וַתֵּצֵא אֵשׁ, מִלִּפְנֵי יְהוָה, וַתֹּאכַל עַל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ, אֶת-הָעֹלָה וְאֶת-הַחֲלָבִים"
That process revealed a channel to Binah and the nation saw it and fell to the ground with joy and singing. (9:24)
"; וַיַּרְא כָּל-הָעָם וַיָּרֹנּוּ, וַיִּפְּלוּ עַל-פְּנֵיהֶם".

Nadav and Avihu "נָדָב וַאֲבִיהוּא" were one soul. Their name sums to the value of 91 ((Nadav=56)+ (Avihu=24)+(letters=9) + (2 for the words), which according to Kabbalah, tells a lot about their energy. 91 is the value of Amen "אמן " and the combination of "יקוק" the upper and unpronounced name and the lower connection of "אדני". When we answer Amen to a blessing we meditate on "יאקדונקי" (the letter ק replaces the letter ה for obvious reasons). The word for Angel "מלאך" is also 91. All their essences were to serve and draw the light to the world. When they saw the great revelation of Light (verse 9:24) they didn\’t hesitate to act on it as we read on the next verse that also starts a new chapter (10:1) and scarify themselves for the benefit of all. We are actually benefiting from their selfless action until Mashiach comes (B"H Today, Amen).

We can learn about that when Moshe came to Aharon and said (10:3)
"וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל-אַהֲרֹן, הוּא אֲשֶׁר-דִּבֶּר יְהוָה לֵאמֹר
בִּקְרֹבַי אֶקָּדֵשׁ, וְעַל-פְּנֵי כָל-הָעָם, אֶכָּבֵד; וַיִּדֹּם, אַהֲרֹן.".
Rashi explains that with this verse Moshe tells Aharon that the action of Nadav and Avihu put them higher than Moshe and Aharon. On the surface it looks like they did a sin but underneath lays a big secret of spiritual connection.

Moshe\’s word to Aharon reveals some of it. "בִּקְרֹבַי אֶקָּדֵשׁ", literal meaning is "with the ones close to me I will be sanctified". The deeper meaning revealed when looking at the words Moshe used. "בִּקְרֹבַי" comes from the root "קרב " which is also root for "קרבן" ("scarifies") and the word "אֶקָּדֵשׁ" from the root "קדש" that means Holy This word relates to connection to the higher level. "קדיש" that we say during the prayers connects us between the different levels of the prayer connection. "קידוש" that is done after the prayer, makes the final and most important connection of spiritual to physical. The letter "ק" is the letter of the ground " קרקע" the "ד" is the letter for humility "דלות" and "ש" is the letter of completion "שלם" and "שלום" (peace). The "ש" related to fire and built from three letters of "ו" that represent the three lines of Chessed, Gevurah and Tiferet (Avraham Yitzachak and Yaakov). In summary to connect to the Holy we need to create actions below with selfless and humility in order to connect to the upper. "קידוש־השם" is the higher connection.

Metzora – What if I told you that the cure for cancer is here…

In this article I will bring you the deeper explanation on what cancer is? What is the cause for it? How do we immune ourselves? And what is the cure?

In this article I will bring you the deeper explanation on what cancer is? What is the cause for it? How do we immune ourselves? And what is the cure?

But before we continue, please read the following statement.

The content on this article and the website this information is presented to you is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider for any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read here or elsewhere.

Having said that and cleared the legal issues, here is what the Torah teaches us.

What is cancer?

Cancer is the general name for a group of more than 100 diseases in which cells in a part of the body begin to grow out of control. Although there are many kinds of cancer, they all start because abnormal cells grow out of control. Untreated cancers can cause serious illness and even death.

Normal body cells grow, divide, and die in an orderly fashion. During the early years of a person\’s life, normal cells divide more quickly until the person becomes an adult. After that, cells in most parts of the body divide only to replace worn-out or dying cells and to repair injuries.

Cancer cells develop because of damage to DNA. This substance is in every cell and directs all of the cell\’s activities. Most of the time when DNA becomes damaged, either the cell dies or is able to repair the DNA. In cancer cells, the damaged DNA is not repaired. People can inherit damaged DNA, which accounts for inherited cancers. Many times though, a person’s DNA gets damaged by things in the environment, like, chemicals, viruses, tobacco smoke or too much sunlight.”

(The above text is copied from information provided by the American Cancer Society. cancer.org)

The basic information above is what the scientists give us. Now let’s find what is really going on with this scary disease? First, we need to know that all materials are subject to spiritual forces. Nothing moves in this world without a control by a spiritual force.

You are the driver of your car. The car doesn’t move unless you decide to put some gas, start the engine and engage the gear. Even if you have the most sophisticated car that drives itself from cost to cost, guided by satellites systems. It all starts with the thought that created the device that we utilize in our life every moment.

The connection to the parasha of Metzora will come soon, please stay with me.

Know that the hardest metal is actually 99% space. The atoms are made of electrons protons and neutrons in a special relationship that constantly move in space. Ask you physics teacher. It is all incredible but true.

We are the creators in this world. Yes, G-d created the basic system, but all else that you see around you is 100% man made, or should we say just 1% considering the 99% space. It is actually 100% because the 99% is what holds everything together.

The 99% space is actually the substance and the 1% is the packaging materials.
I read a kids story book where it tells about kids that want to bring a gift to their mom on her birthday. One gave her flowers, the other one candies and the little one gave her a box. When his mom opened it and found it empty, she asked “what’s inside?” and the little one said that it is filled with kisses that never end. Obviously his mom said that this is the best gift ever.

It is just a little story but it teaches us about the impact of the space. We may not see anything but it is actually full of everything.

Nowadays people across the globe are walking around with their communication devices, Cell phones, PDAs, Radio and Video streaming, etc. Put thousands of those in one spot and ask them to connect to a different place or person while constantly moving around. The amazing thing is that all are going to be connected, get their specific channel without getting tangled with each other’s channel.

Think about it, imagine it, it’s incredible how much can go on in one spot at one single moment.  It’s all in the space.

What is this space?

The space is the force that enables us to become creators. Crazy ha…Let’s get crazier. The space is the Light force of the Creator that is concealed from us. Concealed from our eyes but it is all around us, keeping existence in movement so we can make whatever we want.

Why do we need to breathe to stay alive? When there is no breathing, the movement (heart) stops, the brain stops and the light we have inside (the soul) jumps out.

Are you still with me? Okay, let’s connect the pieces together.

Leprosy as we know it in recent times is not the same as what the Torah is talking about.  Tzaraat is the Hebrew name for it and the first symptoms are whitening of the skin and sores.

The Zohar tells us that the cause for Tzaraat is speaking evil tongue.  Why so?

Before we speak we have a thought, which comes from “the space”. When we talk we create a different reality. When that reality is negative, it affects “the space” around us. That effect causes a change in our DNA.

Why does the DNA change?

The power of speech is the power to create. It transforms “the space” into matter. If the change that happens doesn’t match the reason for creation, which is the state of natural and healthy DNA then it causes a change in our DNA on a personal level and on environment level.

One little bad talk can go out of control, like one cell with a corrupted DNA gets out of control and starts taking over the rest, forms groups (tumors) and spreads further.

Why can cancer come back after it was removed?

If you do not remove the cause of the cancer, there’s no cure. You may take all the tumors out, but the source is still there. In the person himself or in “the space”.

How does cancer get cured?

Transformation. Take care of the source first. Stop the source of negativity to spread and the tumors (contaminated groups) will shrink. It you decide to take away the tumors, transform the source to good. Repair the DNA with positive actions.

How do we immune ourselves from cancer?

Shut up. First thing is to stop any talk and action that is not creating positivity for you and for the environment. Be like G-d, enlighten others, help, share, get out of yourself.

Come closer to the light. The Zohar explains that connecting to the Torah will keep us away from negativity. As the Zohar says, “A little light removes a lot of darkness.

I did not expand on all the points that I should have and I hope that you get the picture. There will be a second article on this subject with more detailed explanations. Feel free to e-mail me any questions you have.

Stay connected and zip it.

I love you all,

Tazria – Begin with the end in mind.

Why it takes two to Tango? (or to have children)

Initially, G-d created Adam and Eve as one in order to establish a desire for them to seek each other and connect. Like us, we crave something that we have already had a taste for. A person that never tasted a good chocolate (or similar), will not have the desire for it.  Adam and Eve were Zeir Anpin and Malchut on the spiritual level. G-d took them through the process of separation in order to give them the opportunity to desire and work on connecting to each other. That connection draws light to the world.

" אִשָּׁה כִּי תַזְרִיעַ, וְיָלְדָה זָכָר " ( Leviticus 12:2)
If a woman be delivered, and bear a man-child

The Zohar for this parasha discusses the different aspects of the connection between the male and female, and the light that flows as a result of it.

When Adam was created he had two faces (sides) Genesis (1:27)

" וַיִּבְרָא אֱלֹקים אֶת-הָאָדָם בְּצַלְמוֹ, בְּצֶלֶם אֱלֹקים בָּרָא אֹתוֹ:  זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה, בָּרָא אֹתָם ",
"
And God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them."

The Zohar explains "זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה, בָּרָא אֹתָם" ("Male and Female he created them") means that both were connected back to back. They were one but couldn\’t see each other. G-d said (Genesis 2:18)

"וַיֹּאמֶר יְקוָק אֱלֹק ים, לֹא-טוֹב הֱיוֹת הָאָדָם לְבַדּוֹ; אֶעֱשֶׂה-לּוֹ עֵזֶר, כְּנֶגְדּוֹ "
"And God said: \’It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help for him "

" כְּנֶגְדּוֹ ", "for him", means in front of him. " וַיִּקַּח, אַחַת מִצַּלְעתָיו " (and he took one of his ribs). The word for rib in Hebrew is" צל " which also means side, like the side of a building. " אַחַת ","one", is in the female form.

The Zohar continues to explain that G-d brought Eve to Adam as a bride to the groom and blessed them (1:28). The blessing was like the seven blessings in a wedding ceremony, the "Kidushin". Those blessings build and create the unification of the Seven Sefirot (Chessed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach, Hod, Yesod and Malchut). This way a complete form of light and vessel is established. The couple is united and bonded with the spiritual system.

After G-d removed Eve from the side of Adam it said (Genesis 2:21,22,23,24)
"
וַיִּקַּח, אַחַת מִצַּלְעֹתָיו, וַיִּסְגֹּר בָּשָׂר, תַּחְתֶּנָּה" , "G-d took one of his ribs, and closed up the place with flesh instead ". This is the separation of Eve from Adam or Malchut from Zeir Anpin. Then in Genesis 2:23
"
"
And Adam said: \’This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.\’"

Adam recognized the separation and called her "זֹּאת \’" (it is also a code for Malchut).

The final advice in 2:24
"
"
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh"

Father and Mother as explained in previous commentaries refer to Chokmah and Binah, that give birth to Zeir Anpin (Male energy, "
זכר ") and Malchut. Their purpose is to connect and be one "אֶחָד ", numerical value is 13, same as love "אהבה ".

When a person connects to another woman, he creates a major flaw in his spiritual connection to the light and the correction of it is very hard. (Zohar Tazriah).
"
אשה־אחרת ", "another woman", is a woman who belongs to another man. (Please don\’t think of belonging as in property. Two parts of the same soul \’belong\’ to each other.) The Zohar uses the words "אשת־אחר " and it can be translated as a woman who is married to another man, and also a woman from the impure system.

"אחר " in the Torah refers to the bad and impure side of the Tree of Knowledge.

The word " עֵזֶר " "help" in Genesis 2:18 has the meaning of help and also a tool. When we rearrange the order of the letters we get "זרע ", which means seed. In our reference this is  the seed that is created when a man (male energy) and a woman (female energy) unite.

When we think about the process of unification and creating life, we realize how great the miracle of creation is. The numerical value of the first two letters " רז " is 207, which is the same as Light. " אור ". The third letter " ע " equals to 70, which represents the seven Sefirot (Each Sefira contains ten inner Sefirot). The light comes in with the unification.

The Ari Hakadosh, explains that the first service of Yom Kippur is to open the arc, bring out Torah scrolls and recite a verse from psalms (97:11) " אוֹר, זָרֻעַ לַצַּדִּיק וּלְיִשְׁרֵי-לֵב שִׂמְחָה " ("Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.").

The seed of the Light for the whole year is at that point in Yom Kippur. Opening the Arc is in the level of Chokamh and Binah (Kabbalistically called Father and Mother). The Torah scroll is Zeir Anpin, rolled in a shape of the letter Vav and held upright to channel the Light to Malchut (the world of action).

The Ari gives a deeper meditation and suggest s that a man should do his best just to be able to carry one of the Torah scrolls taken out of the Arc on the night of Yom Kippur. The first Torah that is brought out of the Ark is the seed of all.

" וְיָלְדָה זָכָר ","and delivered a man child"  is a result of the connection. " זָכָר " is the appearance of the light. This word also reveals the light in it with the letters of " רז "=" אור " =" אין־סוף ". The other letter is "כ ", the letter of Keter, the highest sefira. It is also the letter of the Sun. This letter also opens forward, in a giving state. "זָכָר " (=male) is and should be a channel for the Light.

The Zohar talks about the circumcision, Brit (" מילה ") done on the eighth day. During the circumcision, the father, or the Mohel acting on behalf of the father, removes the foreskin, " ערלה ", which represents the Sin of Adam and Eve and the snake. The process is the first correction of the body. By removing that negativity we connect the child " זָכָר " to the light. Naming the child immediately after the circumcision is important. The name connects the body to the root of the soul of his name and it is done after the removal of the negativity. The child is now connected to Binah.

It is important to understand that all our prayers are for the purpose of unifying the male (Zeir Anpin, " יקוק ") and the Female (Malchut, " שכינה "). This draws the light and keeps it flowing to this world. If all prayers and spiritual connections stopped, the world would go out of existence.

The Kabbalists teach us that all of our spiritual and physical connections should start with the " לשם־יחוד־קודשה־בריך־הוא־ושכינתיה " (for the purpose of unifying the Holy one, bless be he and the Shechinah) " יה " and " וה ".

B"H we will merit witnessing the final connection of the Light and Vessel in equality (Zechariah 14:9)

"וְהָיָה יְקוָק לְמֶלֶךְ, עַל-כָּל-הָאָרֶץ; בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא, יִהְיֶה יְקוָק אֶחָד–וּשְׁמוֹ אֶחָד . ",
And G-d shall be King over all the earth; in that day shall the G-d be One, and His name one.

 Today, Amen.

I Love you all, Shabbat Shalom,

Zion Nefesh

Behar – Who is a Jew?

Please note that the word for Jewish, "יהודי" does not appear in the whole Torah. (It is found in the other two parts of the bible but as reference to individuals.)
Jacob is Israel (See Genesis 32:29) and his children are the twelve tribes. They came to the land of milk and honey, settled in and built the Holy Temple.

For me, the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

Many people translate "the Children of Israel" to "The Jewish people".

After the death of King Solomon, Rehoboam, his son causes a split in the nation. This situation allowed negativity to get in and brought the exile of the ten tribes, "The Lost Tribes".

We know that the tribe of Yehuda supported Rehoboam, the king of Israel, the son of Solomon, the son of David.

A Jew, "יהודי", connects to the tribe of Yehuda and to the line of David. Prophesies tells us about G-d\’s promises to gather us from all the nations (Ezekiel 20:34).  In Ezekiel 20:40 G-d says that in the Holy Mountain, all the house of Israel will serve G-d.
The "children of Israel" refers to all the Tribes, including the lost ten. They could be your neighbors. If they were not born as Jewish, "יהודי", it doesn\’t mean that they are not from the house of Israel.

The root of the word redemption "גְּאֻלָּה" appears in this parasha more than in any others. It also guides us to be honest and support each other. The code of seven that repeats in the parasha, represent the final Shabbat, the elevation to the light of Binah. It will be when all Israel will be united in the Holy Mountain, "בהר" (=207= Light="אור").

Love your neighbor as yourself. He could be your brother, really your brother.

" אִשָּׁה כִּי תַזְרִיעַ, וְיָלְדָה זָכָר " (Leviticus 12:2)
If a woman be delivered, and bear a man-child

The Zohar for this parasha discusses the different aspects of the connection between the male and female, and the light that flows as a result of it.

When Adam was created he had two faces (sides) Genesis (1:27)

" וַיִּבְרָא אֱלֹקים אֶת-הָאָדָם בְּצַלְמוֹ, בְּצֶלֶם אֱלֹקים בָּרָא אֹתוֹ:  זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה, בָּרָא אֹתָם",
And God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.

The Zohar explains "זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה, בָּרָא אֹתָם" ("Male and Female he created them") means that both were connected back to back. They were one but couldn’t see each other. G-d said (Genesis 2:18)

“And God said: \’It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help for him

" כְּנֶגְדּוֹ ", “for him”, means in front of him. " וַיִּקַּח, אַחַת מִצַּלְעתָיו " (and he took one of his ribs). The word for rib in Hebrew is" צל " which also means side, like the side of a building. " אַחַת ",”one”, is in the female form.

After G-d removed Eve from the side of Adam it said (Genesis 2:21,22,23,24)
וַיִּקַּח, אַחַת מִצַּלְעֹתָיו, וַיִּסְגֹּר בָּשָׂר, תַּחְתֶּנָּה” , “G-d took one of his ribs, and closed up the place with flesh instead”. This is the separation of Eve from Adam or Malchut from Zeir Anpin. Then in Genesis 2:23
"
And Adam said: \’This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.\’

Adam recognized the separation and called her "זֹּאת \’" (it is also a code for Malchut).

The final advice in 2:24
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh

"
אשה־אחרת ", “another woman”, is a woman who belongs to another man. (Please don’t think of belonging as in property. Two parts of the same soul ‘belong’ to each other.) The Zohar uses the words "אשת־אחר " and it can be translated as a woman who is married to another man, and also a woman from the impure system.

"אחר " in the Torah refers to the bad and impure side of the Tree of Knowledge.

The word " עֵזֶר " “help” in Genesis 2:18 has the meaning of help and also a tool. When we rearrange the order of the letters we get “זרע", which means seed.

" וְיָלְדָה זָכָר ",”and delivered a man child” is a result of the connection. " זָכָר " is the appearance of the light. This word also reveals the light in it with the letters of " רז "=" אור " =" אין־סוף ". The other letter is “כ”, the letter of Keter, the highest sefira. It is also the letter of the Sun. This letter also opens forward, in a giving state. “זָכָר” (=male) is and should be a channel for the Light.

"וְהָיָה יְקוָק לְמֶלֶךְ, עַל-כָּל-הָאָרֶץ; בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא, יִהְיֶה יְקוָק אֶחָד–וּשְׁמוֹ אֶחָד. ",
And G-d shall be King over all the earth; in that day shall the G-d be One, and His name one.

 Today, Amen.

Kedoshim – Don\’t go out! Someone is about to \”shoot\” you…

The Zohar tells us that Kedoshim includes the whole torah. If the Zohar states that huge statement then we need to stop and dig in to find out why. It is a short portion but with huge spiritual depth.

(Leviticus 19)

14: You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling-block
before the blind, but you shall fear your G-d: I am the Lord.
16: You shall not go up and down as a gossiper among your people;
neither shall you stand on the blood of your neighbor: I am the LORD
17: You shall not hate your brother in your heart; You shall surely
rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.
18: You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children
of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as thyself: I am the LORD

We\’ll understand this soon but let me ask you this.
If a person shot another person in order to kill him and missed, did he kill him?
You may say; No, if he missed him then he didn\’t kill him. You are right, but spiritually you are wrong.

If a person aims to kill another, he had already imagined him as dead. If he took the shot then he killed the other person. The physical appearance doesn\’t matter when considering the effect on the person attempted to kill.

If he went to kill and stopped before completing the act, it is different because the new choice came to be and it cancelled the previous one.

Let\’s take a short lesson in nuclear physics. Name of the lesson is "Does matter exists?"

Scientists teach us that surrounding every atom there is an electromagnetic field which is energy and not matter. Even surrounding electrons and nuclei is a field and even the particles that make up the electron which revolve around the atom is probably another electromagnetic field and whatever makes up those particles is probably surrounded by an electromagnetic field and so on.
Atoms never actually touch one another. They are in constant movement in space.

Whatever we see is what we perceive to be matter, but in fact, it is only a reflection of light, projected into a screen in the back of our inner eye. It is an upside down image and we need the brain to interpret it for us.
Without going to deep into this subject, I ask you again, Does matter exists? What keeps the fields of energy organized in a particular pattern?

I hope that I prepared you enough for the next statement.

 Leviticus 19:1
"דַּבֵּר אֶל-כָּל-עֲדַת בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם–קְדֹשִׁים תִּהְיוּ:
כִּי קָדוֹשׁ, אֲנִי יְקוָק אֱלֹהֵיכֶם"
"Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them:
You shall be holy; for I the LORD your G-d am holy"

There are no conditions said here. It is simple; be holy because I am holy.

Your patterns exists in the space which is G-d. Your individual matter is represented as patterns of energy that makes you. It is the sum of your desires that defines your vessel. This is what holds the Light inside and in connection with "the space", internally and externally.

Now that you have this in your mind read the Parasha again and again. Suddenly you will understand it differently because the mystery has just been revealed. G-d gave us the gift of being with us in every heart beat. He is Holy and whatever you do affects the patterns of energy, which uses the Light of the Creator as drive to keep us in motion and express the self and its desires.
If we act in ways which are not Holy, we contaminate the Holiness inside.

We cannot curse the deaf (Lev. 19:14) because it takes us out of holiness. It doesn\’t matter if he heard us or not. If one steals and wasn\’t caught, he is still a thief. If you hate your brother in your heart (Lev. 19:17), you don\’t have to express it for the effect to take place in your space.

To "bear a sin on yourself" is the effect on your soul (the energy patterns). When it says "his blood shall be upon him", it is the effect of the sin as it registers in the blood. Every sin creates a barrier between the Light and the vessel. If there is no likeness with the light, the DNA gets changed and creates openness for negativity.

Rabbi Shimon says in the Zohar that when negativity is in town, don\’t show yourself in the markets (where people are). When there is negativity in the space, we better stay away from it.

Every person is responsible for his own actions and for all that is in his surrounding space. Lev. 19:17 instructs us to care for our neighbors, to make sure they follow the ways of the Light, otherwise we will carry their sins. Their actions impact the space that we share and affect us. 19:18 tells us to make our space as one with the others because the light doesn\’t want to be within the limits, which is you. Sharing connects us together and expands the light beyond ourselves.

Imagine a picture that everyone is still connected to their mother with the umbilical cord. You would see a huge tree of people connected to each other. The light wants us to reach that point where we see each other as ourselves. No separation.

Lev. 19:4 teaches us not to turn to idols. Idols are the illusionary "materials" that we want to have and connect. They are not the light and they distracting us from connecting to what is important.

When it says that G-d created us in his own image. "
