לָכֵן, אֱמֹר:  הִנְנִי נֹתֵן לוֹ אֶת-בְּרִיתִי, שָׁלוֹם.
In order to understand this article deeply, please read last year’s article http://rabbishimon.com/index.cfm/feature/23_4 . (Its not old stuff or a daily news article, it is good until Mashiach is here.) and the commentary for Balak http://rabbishimon.com/index.cfm/feature/147_4

The background story is that Balak and Balaam tried to destroy the nation of Israel. They wanted to separate the Israelites from the light of the creator using the spiritual method of curses.
They couldn’t achieve that so they decided to drain their energy by seducing them to have sex with Midianite women. They succeeded and the Light was going away from the nation. Darkness invaded and the effect was a deadly plague.
Pinchas realized the real cause of the plague and jumped to correct the situation.

He didn’t think of himself or consulted his father, the high priest or Moses for advice. He grew up to follow the great line of his family. His father, the high priest, his grandfather, Aharon, the man of peace and his two uncles, Nadav and Avihu, who sacrificed their lives to bring final redemption before time and allow us a higher connection to the Light of the Creator.

His level of dedication to protect the people elevated him closer to the endless light.
When the negative action was happening, Pinchas saw the drainage of light going from the good side of the tree to the bad side of it.

All his essence was “I am not important”; “I am here to draw the light to the people and remove negativity from the world”.
He had the Tree of Life consciousness, selflessness and unconditional love. Pinchas didn’t have a consciousness of killing the people that caused the negativity; he just did whatever was needed to stop it.

By drawing the highest light of the endless to stop the negativity, he had to die and because he revealed the light of the endless, he couldn’t die.

Following is an explanation to this “paradoxical” situation.
We know that when a righteous person dies, all the light that was generated from his positive actions during his life remains in this world.

Pinchas tapped into the light of the Tree of Life with his action. It could’ve brought the final redemption and the final peace, before we could really earn it. Therefore, Pinchas died and at the same time got reincarnated with the two souls of his uncles, Nadav and Avihu, who both acted selflessly in order to bring the final redemption.
Pinchas, didn’t think through or had any personal agenda. He knew one thing, he was not important. He was there to make the connection and draw the light for others.
He did what was needed to be done. He stopped negativity that could’ve destroyed the whole world.

Remember, God created the world for us to make. If we lose the balance and negativity takes over the light, a total destruction will happen.

God testifies to the great act that Pinchas did. (Numbers 25:11) “הֵשִׁיב אֶת-חֲמָתִי מֵעַל בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל”, has turned my wrath away from the children of Israel.

The law of attraction is implemented here automatically. Pinchas behaved like the Creator and created affinity with the light at the highest level, the endless light.
God was so happy to be “stopped” and rewarded Pinchas with eternal priesthood and appointed him to be the “keeper of the covenant”. The “ברית”, covenant, is the first revelation and connection of God and Abraham.  “Peace”, "שלום", is referred in this case to the Final redemption and final peace.
The Zohar discusses a conversation between God and Moses about giving Pinchas the control over Malchut. As we know there is a small letter Yod “י” added to Pinchas’s name (Numbers 25:11). This letter represents Malchut. Here is the discussion that is translated from Zohar;
“…At that time God thought what should I do with Moses. The covenant came from Moses and the bride, which is Malchut, belongs to him. It is not nice to give her, the Malchut, to another, without the knowledge and will of Moshe. It is not proper.
The Holy one Blessed be He, started saying to Moses, Moses, “Pinchas, the son of Elazar, the son of Aharon the priest”. Moses replied, Master of the Universe, what is it? The Holy One told him, you are the one that gave his soul for the Israelites several times, so they should not be gone from this world. And Pinchas returned my wrath away from the children of Israel…and Moses answered, “What do you want from me? Everything is yours and if you want to give him control over Malchut, who would tell you what to do?”
The conversation continues and I just wanted to bring up two points here. One is that God had to give Pinchas control over Malchut. Second is Moses’s reaction. He could already move between worlds, see God and People, but he still thought to himself, “I am not important!” what do you want from me, God? Do whatever you want.

Bottom line, Pinchas has it all. He never died; he is Elijah, the prophet. He has the ability to move between worlds, like Moses. Elijah appears (when asked) in every “Brit” (circumcision ceremony), to protect the connection between the people and covenant.  Elijah will announce the coming of Mashiach and the final redemption.
When Rabbi Shimon and his son were hiding in the cave and study Kabbalah, they had two visitors only, Moses and Elijah. The two most “unimportant” people in human history.

Are you important?

  1.

When a couple engages in illicit sexual relations such as fornication (as in the case of the Israelites with the Midianite women), how can the energy released by the man into the woman’s body be captured by the side of negativity? It makes no sense. I thought that it was only masturbation and spilling seed outside the body that allowed the life force to be sucked up by malevolent spiritual forces.

    Thanks and BW,

    Chris

Chris, It makes perfect sense. Spilling the seeds outside the vessel goes to the negative side. Placing the seeds in a vessel that have no spiritual relation to you is also waste of pure light energy. If a person is already part of the negative side then its not a problem but if he wants to connect to the Light he needs to stop the waste to come closer to the pure system and the true light.

  3.

So it is essential for the one to meet the soul mate?
What about the woman? What does it mean for her not to be the vessel for soul mate but it is the vessel for the man that is far away being the soul mate?

  4.

Women doesn’t have to get married and have children. They come to the world to be available for their soul mate, only if he is ready for her.
It is a man’s responsibility to channel the light to the world. Women should pray for their soul mates to go up to the proper level so they can meet, unified in holiness and create continuation (children/life energy) in the world.
