And you are one of them! Are you?

Before you treat me like a crazy person, please go to Deuteronomy 14:1 “You are the children of the LORD your God…”. The Hebrew words used are ” בָּנִים אַתֶּם, לַיקוָק אֱלֹהֵיכֶם” and there is no mistake when referring to “Sons”.

Remember that we are in the book of Deuteronomy, which is the last book of the Pentateuch and it represents Malchut, the level of manifestation. Since we are talking Torah here, the manifestation is revelation of the previous 4 books. Like the light of the sun traveling in space, you know it is there and can find many hints to its existence (Heat , Radiation etc..) but you won\’t see it until it is reflected from a material object.

The light of the whole Torah is revealed here by Moses. The book itself is also called “Mishneh Torah”, which means the “repeated Torah”.

The name of this portion is “Re\’eh” and it means “To see”. The numerical value is 206 and with the Kolel (adding 1 for the whole) = 207 = Light (אור) = Secret (רז). When we add the letter Yod we have ראיה = seeing and its numerical value is 216. This number represents the 72 names of God (216 letters) and the female aspect of the light in Malchut.

Now let\’s reveal the real secret of this verse. The whole verse says “You are the children of the LORD your God. Do not cut yourselves or shave the front of your heads for the dead”. This means a simple thing: “Death has nothing to do with the body”.

Ask any physicist about what happens to the body after death? Is it gone? He will answer you that the body is still in existence, just in a different form. The atoms of all people from the past are still traveling in space (don\’t look up to the sky) and you may even be inhaling the atoms of Abraham or Mozart or … at this moment.

The Zohar comments about this verse that we are the sons of God when we connect Chokmah (Aba = Father) and Binah (Ima = Mother). This connection to father and mother put us in the state of Son of God. This can be achieved when we act with consciousness above the material. When you read the parasha you find many examples on how to connect higher. I will bring just one example that demonstrates how much God gives us the opportunity to connect to him and get certified as “Son of God”.

In 15:7-10 God tells us to be generous and help the poor. In 15:11 we read “There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward those of your people who are poor and needy in your land.”, Again “There will ALWAYS be poor people in the land.”. God promises us an endless supply of poor people. When we see poor people we should not think that someone else will take care of them. We should do that willingly and with open heart. Only then you can have the God\’s blessings like a good son.

Connect to Father and Mother and start with your own parents. Treat them with all the respect and love  and not just because it is the fifth commandment; “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you” ,but because it is the closest connection you have to supernal Father (Chokmah) and supernal Mother (Binah). Give them a call and say you love them. If your parents passed away then share this article and/or the lesson of it with other people.


The whole Torah scroll is written in 248 columns. Every column starts with a word that begins with the letter "ו" except for six special columns. The first letters are "ביהשמו", The "ב" of "בראשית"is the first, there are four more in between and the last of the six is "ו". There is a great significance to the location of each of them but I want to focus on the last letter "ו" that completes the set.

The six letters known as "ביה־שמו" , translated to in "יה" , his name. "יה" is naturally related to the first two letters of the Tetragramaton and the top three sefirot of Keter, Chokmah and Binah. "שמו", "his name" relates to the future name of G-d with the final revelation of the Light with Mashiach, as it is prophesized "ביום־ההוא־יהיה־יקוק־אחד־ושמו־אחד", "on that day G-d and his name will be one".The deeper explanation of this verse will be at another time.

The special letter ו appears on the top of the column in (Deuteronomy 31:28)
"וְאָעִידָה בָּם, אֶת-הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֶת-הָאָרֶץ"

You may ask; if there are 242 "ו" on the top of the columns then why is this one special. The answer is in its position. Moshe is about to leave the world and he is completing the Torah (31:30), which is Zeir Anpin, and is represented by the Letter "ו" of the Tetragramaton.  The column that this Vav appears is on top of a unique column. There are three parts to this column. Few lines at the top and two narrow columns of parashat Ha\’azinu (I\’ll explain about this in Ha\’azinu).

The first letter of the Torah , "ב" of Bereshit,
" וְאָעִידָה בָּם, " and " בָּם ", relates to the 42 letters at the beginning of Genesis and it created the universe. It is know as the name of G-d of 42 letters.
" אֶת-הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֶת-הָאָרֶץ " , relates to the first action of creation, which formed heaven and earth. This is also related to (30:19) where we see the same message with the final promise to have full control over the physical realm as promised to our fathers, Avraham Yizaac and Ya\’Akov. Notice in this verse that G-d specifys the name of our fathers to us (like we do not know!).

Closing the circle is revealing Mashiach. The Vav completes the set of six letters and makes few amazing combinations. First is that the numerical value is "המשיח", "the Mashiach" and "משה־חי", "Moshe is alive". This is the beginning of the Shabbat of creation.

In Genesis we read about the "spirit of G-d is hovering over the water". Kabbalah teaches us that the Torah and the idea of the end and Mashiach were there before creation.  The Torah is the water that sustains the life. The spirit of Mashiach hovering over the Torah, is the  six letters.  They connect all parts of the Torah into one, the spirit of Mashiach.

The Torah connects us to the Tree of Life. (Proverbs 3:18) " עֵץ-חַיִּים הִיא, לַמַּחֲזִיקִים בָּהּ ", so how come we read about so many horrible curses and diseases this Shabbat.

The secret here is that the curses are not really curses. They are huge light under cover.

If someone throws rocks at you, you will try to avoid them as much as possible but if you know that those stones have diamonds inside each one of them then you\’ll ask for more. You will hold on to them and won\’t let go because you know how precious they are.

The parasha of Ki Tavo conceals many diamonds and we\’ll dig them out a little later. The Israelites are about to enter the Land of Milk and Honey and Moshe tells them that they will become a nation , then he selects 6 tribes to go on the mount of blessings, Gerizim, and 6 tribes to go on the mount of Ebal, for the curses.

Then the Levites start to recite a set of twelve curses loudly. All of those curses begin with the word " אָרוּר ", cursed, and ends with " וְאָמַר כָּל-הָעָם, אָמֵן " except the first one which is said in plural form " וְעָנוּ כָל-הָעָם וְאָמְרוּ, אָמֵן ", this one is for the whole nation and it connects them as one. The next eleven curses are in a singular form " וְאָמַר " "and all the people say Amen."

Before the first "curse", they were still separated but after that they became one. A similar situation happened in the wilderness when the nation was standing at the bottom of Mount Sinai and it was said " ויחן־העם ", in singular form.

The eleven curses have the power to break negativity like the eleven incenses, the high priest used to burn in the Holy Temple . We recite this process three times in our daily connections (Twice in the morning and one in the afternoon).

The diamonds I was talking about are in the four words of " וְאָמַר כָּל-הָעָם, אָמֵן ".

The sum of the first letters from each word is 32. The sum of the last letters is 320. The sum of the middle letters is 151. The Zohar reveals us that the first curses in the Torah are found in the book of Leviticus, chapter 26 and are 32 verses. And the ones in this parasha are 53 verses. Total number of curses is 98.

The beginning letters " וכהא " sums to 32 and is used as a bridge to connect the previous curses to the first and the last letters of the Torah " ב ל ".

The middle letters sum to 151, which is equal to " מקוה " (the place of ritual bath that cleanse us from spiritual negativity).

The last word " אָמֵן ", Amen, is the most important spiritual tool we have. This is the Diamond. In Hebrew " יהלום " Both words equal to 91. " יקוק " and " אדני " also sum to 91. The first name relates to the upper levels and we are not allowed to read it as a regular word, instead we use the lower name of " אדני ".

We say Amen after every blessing. This is done to connect the upper and lower. And draw the specific light of the blessing to us.

The Zohar and the Talmud say that the light that is revealed and drawn by a person that answers Amen to a blessing is greater than the one that says the blessing. The reason is that with the word Amen, we use two names of G-d and with the blessing use only one name. Every Amen we say creates an angel that carries the light down. Angel in Hebrew is " מלאך " and it is also equal to 91.

Now why use curses and how is it connected to our immune system?

When we were young and sometimes acting foolish, our parents used to yell at us and warn us from bad things that could happen if we don\’t correct our actions. Did they hate us? No.

We know now that they were motivated by love and care. They gave us "on the head" and threatened us with punishments to avoid hurting ourselves.

G-d brings the Yisraelites to the Land and tells them (27:9) " הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה נִהְיֵיתָ לְעָם " ,"Today, you became a nation". Now they are on their own, standing by the spiritual gates of The Land. Josef (Sefirah of Yesod) is buried there and when Abraham had come to the land, this place was also his first stop.

This is the beginning of the nation and the connection to the Land. G-d is letting them go but not before He injects the vaccine against negativity into their consciousness,.

The Levites are the ones that served in The Holy. Whatever they did was related to holiness. Those curses were recited for proper execution. They had the strong voice that carried the Light. The curses are the injection of Light that the Yisraelites needed before they started their journey as a nation in the Holy Land .

The Torah tells us how the High Priest takes away the negativity from the nation of Israel during the Yom Hakipurim process. The Cohen choose a special goat, place the negativity on the head of the goat and send it with a person, that can handle the negativity, to the desert. (Leviticus 16:21). The Levites are not involved in this process.

Some communities have the tradition of reading the part of the curses in lower or whispering voice. This is a big mistake. It should be the opposite.

The clearer we hear the curses, the stronger the immunization process gets. The Levites said the curses in loud voice (27:14).

We need to hear all the curses well. Every " אָרוּר " that we hear, beat the negativity inside of us every " אָמֵן ", cleanse.

KiTavo is always read just before Rosh Hashanah and it gives us the best preparation for the two days of Judgment. The count of curses is 98 and it is equivalent to the word " צח " (shiny clean), and also to the word " סלח " "forgive".

"כִּי-תֵצֵא לַמִּלְחָמָה, עַל-אֹיְבֶיךָ; וּנְתָנוֹ יְקוָק אֱלֹהֶיךָ, בְּיָדֶךָ–וְשָׁבִיתָ שִׁבְיוֹ. " The Torah teaches us how to go to war against our enemies. Every day we wake up to a new war.
I am not talking about a fist fight or cannons firing on the neighbors.
We have an enemy that always wants to invade our domain and take as much as he can from us. Most people are not aware of him but he is our worst enemy and also our best friend (?!).

The parasha of Ki Tetze, teaches us how to identify and deal with him. We have a choice to fight him or submit to him.

In 21:10 we read "and if you go to war on your ENEMIES, G-d will deliver HIM into your hand and have captives"…" and you saw a beautiful woman, and you desired her and you took her to be your wife". The rest of the story talks about hair styles, nails, dressing, crying and sex. I will not talk about the details but here is a quick kabalistic dictionary. Hair = Wires to draw
energy, nail= holds negative energy, dress = surrounding light,
crying = opening to the level of Chokmah, Father = Chokmah (right
column), Mother =Binah (left column), sex= connection of light and
Rashi, comments on this verse "and you took her to be your wife", and says that here the Torah is talking about the evil inclination.
We have one enemy and he appears in many forms and makes battles with us. Where ever we go, he is there to challenge us. We can not make one single decision without him interfering and pushing in his point.

The Torah reveals that even if we see the battles ahead, there is only one enemy and to win, all we need to do is go to war with him and G-d will deliver him into our hands.
It is an amazing guarantee. All we need is to go out to war and that\’s it, G-d will deliver.

The evil side wants to take away our connection to the Light. He comes in many tempting forms; beautiful woman, delicious cake, yummy ice-cream, easy money, skipping a spiritual connection, and lots more. It is not easy to fight him all the time but it is also a gift to us from G-d. He created this world for us to work. Genesis (2:3) "אֲשֶׁר-בָּרָא אֱלקִים לַעֲשׂוֹת ".

G-d gave us the gift of free choice, the ability to choose and create. Be like G-d. Every thing outside the basic elements of nature was created by us. From the first piece of cloth, first wheel to the space station orbiting earth.

G-d created the system of cause and effect with the built in force that tempts and offers us the wrong choices. The light of the creator is always there. The problem is that the force of negativity always attaches itself to the good and blocks us from connecting to it.

It is like a shell of the nut or of a fruit. We need to break through the Shell (Klipa in Hebrew) in order to get to the fruit. The harder the shell, the more potent is the fruit. Negative is always in the open. No effort is needed to connect to it. All the "easy to get" are from the negative. If you do not work for it, it is from the negativity. We all know the saying "easy come, easy go". If it comes easy, it is not ours and negativity can claim it back at any moment.

The Zohar brings a story about King Solomon that one time he held the king of all demons captive. King Solomon asked him to reveal the greatest secrets to avoid negativity. The king of demons told him that to avoid and to keep away negativity; a person should always buy in full price. Free gifts draw the negativity and let it get attached to us.

When we go to war we break the Klipa and we can expose and enjoy the fruit. The war is a payment to receive the Light. Understanding that negative force is always there puts us on guard and ready to battle.
We can consider him as a friend that encourages us to do our best. In the Olympic Games many of the contestants break their records because they have a strong opponent next to them.

To expand our vessel and be able to draw bigger light we need this opponent to challenge us everyday. Going down is easy. Climbing up is hard but on each step up you can feel the achievement and elevation of the spirit. The more you go down the more you feel the energy drain out.
When a person doesn\’t have challenges in life, it means that he is in the negative side.

A rich person knows that the moment he rests, he start losing. There is no resting on the way up. G-d gave us the Shabbat to rest from the daily battles. Thank G-d for Shabbat.

"כִּי-יִהְיֶה לְאִישׁ, בֵּן סוֹרֵר וּמוֹרֶה "
In (21:18), we find the story of the stubborn and rebellious son. This son is our negative actions. Father and Mother are Chokmah and Binah, which are the higher connections to the Light. When we do not use the GPS (G-d Provided System), we suffer the consequences. If we still do not follow the Light then we take our negativity to the open, "the elders of the city and the gate of his place". This action is done to break the inner shell (Klipa) and become exposed to the Light.

"וְלָקַח אֲבִי הַנַּעֲרָ, וְאִמָּהּ;
וְהוֹצִיאוּ אֶת-בְּתוּלֵי הַנַּעֲרָ,
אֶל-זִקְנֵי הָעִיר–הַשָּׁעְרָה "
The word in Hebrew for a girl is "נַּעֲרָה ", in the Torah (22:15) it is written as "נַּעֲר " that means a young man. The Torah reader in Shabbat must read it as "נַּעֲרָה ". The Zohar explains that this is the secret of the connection to our soul. The soul is light (Male) and the vessel is female. The Torah teaches us here how to reconnect to our pure soul (virgin) and how to remove negativity that was attached to it by our negative actions.
This word appears 13 times in the parasha, in chapter 22 to give us the power of purification.

We are in the month of Elul, a time that we use to cleanse "our bad history" with reflecting on our actions, doing "Teshuvah" and reciting the "Selichot". A main connection in Selichot is the 13 attributes of G-d. As you know the 13 attributes were mentioned first time when Moshe begged and prayed to G-d on behalf of the Yisraelites to avoid punishment for their negative actions.

There are 47 mitzvoth (out of the 613) to signify a lot of opportunities to draw the light into our life, especially in the month of Elul and before Rosh Hashanah.

We need to remember not to love  negativity even if it looks nice and easy on the surface. Losing the light is  harder and it takes longer to build than to destroy. Go to war against our negativity, expose it and cleanse it. If we have some history to clean, we should go back to the source, to the person, open up and cleanse any negativity that was  there.



It is now after Midnight (Friday morning). We just finished with the fast of Yom Kippur and we are just before Shabbat. I didn\’t have article ready for the parasha of Haazinu. (Last year I was in Israel and didn\’t have time to write on it).This year I decided to fight the desire to go to sleep and write to you this short and important commentary. I will not have time to edit it so there is a risk of not being clear or sending in with English errors. (In fact I am writing directly into the email system, not even a proper word processor that will help me with grammar or spelling). Enough with excuses.
I want to share with you just few points. The parasha considered as the song of Moses. It is written in the Torah in very unique way and the style is also different. The whole songs in written on two special columns, which are split into two each to become 4 columns of text.
Before the song starts we have 6 regular lines of Torah text, then 35 lines split to two columns then on the next Torah Column we have the reverse image. 35 lines split to two then 6 regular lines.
I believe that a mathematician will find a lot of secrets just from this unique arrangement of the parasha. Kabbalah Sees it as the upper and lower triangles that form the shield of David. 70 + 70 lines of the song or 35 times 4.
This arrangement also looks like two doors, one opens toward heavens and one door open toward earth

At the top of the column, which we discussed last week, we have the letter Aleph that gave birth to Moses and he keeps it as a key to move between the worlds through the doors that Moses actually created for us.
The letter Aleph is described in Sefer Yetzirah (The Book of Formation) as a Mother letter, together with Mem and Shin.
In the parasha we find a very unique word in the Hebrew language, it has only one letter, the letter/word \’He\’. It appears as large letter, which means that it connects to the level of Binah. The reader of the Torah should read it as a separate word and not connect it to the next word as normally read.
This letter appears twice in the Tetragramaton, one time for Binah and on time for Malchut. Here it tells us how Moses connected upper and lower, like at the beginning of the songs with calling upon heaven and earth to listen to his song and by that he created necessary gates for us and for himself. As I explained in previous commentaries, he will come back. He has the key and the gates.
Last point I want to share with you is that in the Zohar portion of Haazinu, we find a special section called "Idra Zuta" (translated to "Smaller Assembly"). In this part Rabbi Shimon reveals the secrets of Zeir Anpin (six sefirot of Chessed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach, Hod and Yesod). Also here Rabbi Shimon is leaving the world and its departure described in details in the Idra Zuta.
I won\’t go into this details but I will try to answer why the Idra Zuta placed inside Zohar Haazinu?
The Ari, tells us that Rabbi Shimon had a spark on the soul of Moses. He came to the world to reveal the Zohar, in order to support the Shechina at the days before revelation of Mashiach and to give us a powerful tool of connection and protection.
The Zohar and Rabbi Shimon directing us to the gates that lead to Zeir Anpin, the "Light".
When the Torah is raised this Shabbat and you look at it, Stare at the Gates that Moses created for us and ask him to come back.
He was the first redeemer and he will be the last redeemer.
We want to see him now "Ki Ba Moed" (because time has come).

אַתֶּם נִצָּבִים הַיּוֹם כֻּלְּכֶם

I am writing this article on the day the world was created. (25th of Elul).

 The sages institute a daily prayer that includes a special verse that praises God "הַמְחַדֵּשׁ בְּכָל יוֹם תָּמִיד מַעֲשֵׂה בְרֵאשִׁית", "God renew the act of Creation every day, continuously". This tells us that the world was created in one day, the first day, ("יום־אחד").

 It is scientifically known that everything in this world is in a constant movement (Atoms in space). Nothing is in a resting state. NOTHING! The reason for that is to create this world for us God had to create a bubble, which we call our universe.

 The Ten Sefirot, (spiritual dimensions) are basically a narrow expression of the unlimited power of God.

If we want to keep oil and water together, we must stir them continuously. If we stop, then a separation process begins. The oil (like the soul) ascends and the water (like the body) falls.

 God is the whole existence (= The Space). There\’s nothing but him. (Deuteronomy 4:35) "אַתָּה הָרְאֵתָ לָדַעַת, כִּי יְקוָה הוּא הָאֱלֹקים:  אֵין עוֹד, מִלְּבַדּוֹ" "You were shown these things so that you might know that the LORD is God; besides him there is no other." "אלקים" (Lord) is the force of creation and "יקוה" relates to all the rest (This name appears in the Torah only after the story of Creation.)

 We look at ourselves as individuals because of a unique desire (=vessel=soul) that each of us have. This so called "individuality" allows us to express our desires and it influences "the Space"/God to do/follow our will. Crazy, but true.
Again, God is everything in our existence.
This month In Switzerland they opened the LHC facility to conduct the biggest scientific experiment ever. They want to collide protons running in a 20 miles circle in a speed of Light. They want to know what happened just before the Big Bang. Readers of my articles already know that. The thought of the creator to build the universe for us was the cause of the big bang, which is the effect that created our material bubble.

In Deuteronomy 29:14 but with him that stand here with us this day ("היום") before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day ("היום"). The first of "this day" is related to the time of Moses\’ prophecy and the second is for the Future.
"היום" is the day that the Light will be revealed in completeness. Light and vessel will join to the point where the vessel will be as one with the light.

In Genesis 1:3 we read "יהי אור ויהי אור". There are two lights here. The verse translates into two ways. 1. "Let there be light and it was light". 2. "Let there be light and there WILL be light".

God doesn\’t need to prove himself to have confirmation that the light came after he said "Let there be light" so in this light we can read that God actually created two different lights, One for the creation of the world of Action and one for the world to come, where all is corrected. That is "And there will be Light".

The sages tell us that God concealed a higher level of Light from the time of Creation to the new world to come. We see that God planned everything with the end already in existence.

Rosh Hashanah is the day that Adam and Eve were created as one being (Back to Back). The Holy Ari explains that in Rosh Hashanah begins a process of separating Adam and Eve and it took 22 "days" to separate them.

The secret of the Parasha is in verse 30:28 "הַנִּסְתָּרֹת–לַיקוָק, אֱלֹקינוּ; וְהַנִּגְלֹת לָנוּ וּלְבָנֵינוּ, עַד-עוֹלָם–לַעֲשׂוֹת, אֶת-כָּל-דִּבְרֵי הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּאת"," The secret belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law."

There are 11 dots above the letters "לָנוּ וּלְבָנֵינוּ עַ" Rabbi Avraham Abulafia explains that the first word with three letters and three dots refer to the upper three sefirot and the secret of "אלקים" (God) (same numerical value of 86), The second word have 7 letters and refers to the lower seven sefirot and the secret of "the Sons of God" "בני־האלקים". The last letter "ע" (=70) for the seventy nations and seventy languages. All will come together to follow all 22 letters of the Torah.
This connects us to the 22 days from Rosh Hashanah to the last day of Sukkot (Hoshana Rabba, Sealing of the connection, Shemini Atzeret, and connecting to the Final Letters "םןץףך") (To find books to explain the Holidays go to

I found out that the numerical value of the "dotted" letters is 310 and when you add 10 for each dot multiply by 11 equals 110. Together we get 420! That\’s also connects us to the beginning and the Light of Creation.

After Adam and Eve separated, they could turn face to face and joins together. Male and female, light and vessel. Their "marriage" is celebrated after Sukkoth and it is the peak of the process. That day we call "Simchat Torah" (the joy of the Torah), It happens on the 28th day. We finish reading the Torah and immediately start with beginning.




The book of Deuteronomy is the fifth (or the seventh! See commentary to Behalotcha ) and the last book of the Torah.

It is at the level of Malchut. Moshe begins his talk to the nation of Yisrael and "give them on the head". He scolds them for their behavior and disbelief in the G-d.

(Deuteronomy 1:26-29) " וְלֹא אֲבִיתֶם, לַעֲלֹת; וַתַּמְרוּ, אֶת-פִּי יקוָק אֱלֹהֵיכֶם. " " You would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of G-d "

" ו ַתֵּרָגְנוּ בְאָהֳלֵיכֶם, וַתֹּאמְרוּ, בְּשִׂנְאַת יקוָק אֹתָנוּ, הוֹצִיאָנוּ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם–לָתֵת אֹתָנוּ בְּיַד הָאֱמֹרִי, לְהַשְׁמִידֵנוּ "

"And you murmured in your tents, and said: \’Because G-d hated us, He brought us out of the land of Egypt , to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us"

And the effect was ( 1:34 , 35) " ו ַיִּשְׁמַע יקוָק, אֶת-קוֹל דִּבְרֵיכֶם; וַיִּקְצֹף, וַיִּשָּׁבַע לֵאמֹר "

" אִם-יִרְאֶה אִישׁ בָּאֲנָשִׁים הָאֵלֶּה, הַדּוֹר הָרָע הַזֶּה–אֵת, הָאָרֶץ הַטּוֹבָה, אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי, לָתֵת לַאֲבֹתֵיכֶם "

" And G-d heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and swore, saying " " \’surely there shall not one of these men, even this evil generation, see the good land, which I swore to give unto your fathers,"

Again and again they try to go away from G-d ( 1:41 , 42, 43) and then the results were ( 1:44 ).

When following the way of G-d, all obstacles, removed ( 2:32 , 33)

" וַיֵּצֵא סִיחֹן לִקְרָאתֵנוּ הוּא וְכָל-עַמּוֹ, לַמִּלְחָמָה–יָהְצָה " " Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, unto battle at Jahaz."

Then G-d help " וַיִּתְּנֵהוּ יקוָק אֱלֹהֵינוּ, לְפָנֵינוּ; וַנַּךְ אֹתוֹ וְאֶת-בָּנָו, וְאֶת-כָּל-עַמּוֹ ", " And G-d delivered him up before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people ".

Moshe knows that he will leave the world in 37 days and he want to give the nation the final lessons on how to see and trust G-d in order to win their enemies.

When a righteous person leave the world, all his spiritual work translated as Light stays in Malchut.

Today, the fifth of Av, is the hillulah (death anniversary of Rabbi Isaac Luria, "the Ari Hakadosh". We celebrate this day because of the great light the Ari reveal in the world.

His light created a cosmic signature that we can connect to every year. A holiday " חג ", in Hebrew means "circle". It is repeated every year. " שנה " is the root word for \’repeat\’ and also \’change\’.

As we know Malchut, the physical world doesn\’t have a light of its own. The light is revealed ONLY when we push it back, (you can not see your hand in the dark, unless the light reflects from it).

The book of Deuteronomy, " דברים " " משנה־תורה ", reflects and therefore reveals the light of the whole Torah.

Moshe in his words guide us to understand that we need to trust G-d so he can bless and do the work for us. (1:11) " יקוָק אֱלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵכֶם, יֹסֵף עֲלֵיכֶם כָּכֶם–אֶלֶף פְּעָמִים; וִיבָרֵךְ אֶתְכֶם, כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר לָכֶם " " The G-d of your fathers, make you a thousand times so many more as you are, and bless you, as He has promised you!– " and (1:30) "יקוָק אֱלֹהֵיכֶם הַהֹלֵךְ לִפְנֵיכֶם, הוּא יִלָּחֵם לָכֶם:  כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה אִתְּכֶם, בְּמִצְרַיִם–לְעֵינֵיכֶם. " " God who goes before you, He shall fight for you, according to all that He did for you in Egypt before your eyes \’

And (1:31) " ו ּבַמִּדְבָּר, אֲשֶׁר רָאִיתָ, אֲשֶׁר נְשָׂאֲךָ יקוָק אֱלֹהֶיךָ, כַּאֲשֶׁר יִשָּׂא-אִישׁ אֶת-בְּנוֹ–בְּכָל-הַדֶּרֶךְ אֲשֶׁר הֲלַכְתֶּם, עַד-בֹּאֲכֶם עַד-הַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה " " and in the wilderness, where you has seen how that G-d carry you, as a man carry his son, in all the way that you went, until you came unto this place ".

The Ari writings on this parasha, talks about the 7 Edomite kings that are a kabalistic secret to the creation of the world and the process of correction and elevating the sparks of light from negativity to make the final correction of the world and to bring about Mashiach.

This is the essence of the parasha, to understand that distancing ourselves from the Light puts us in trouble and loss.

The Shabbat we read Devarim is called " שבת־חזון " because of the Haphtarah, which is from Isaiah 1, Isaiah brings the words of G-d about the behavior of the nation. He describes in harsh words how the people left the ways of G-d.

(Isaiah 1:4) " הוֹי גּוֹי חֹטֵא, עַם כֶּבֶד עָו‍ֹן–זֶרַע מְרֵעִים, בָּנִים מַשְׁחִיתִים; עָזְבוּ אֶת-יקוָק, נִאֲצוּ אֶת-קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל–נָזֹרוּ אָחוֹר. " " Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evil-doers, children that deal corruptly; they have forsaken the LORD, they have contemned the Holy One of Israel , they are turned away backward ".

Isaiah compares the nation\’s ways to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah . (Read Isaiah 1:9, 10).

(1:11) " לָמָּה-לִּי רֹב-זִבְחֵיכֶם יֹאמַר יְהוָה, שָׂבַעְתִּי עֹלוֹת אֵילִים וְחֵלֶב מְרִיאִים; וְדַם פָּרִים וּכְבָשִׂים וְעַתּוּדִים, לֹא חָפָצְתִּי " "  כִּי תָבֹאוּ, לֵרָאוֹת פָּנָי–מִי-בִקֵּשׁ זֹאת מִיֶּדְכֶם, רְמֹס חֲצֵרָי "

" To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto Me? saith the LORD; I am full of the burnt-offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he-goats. "

"When ye come to appear before Me, who hath required this at your hand, to trample My courts?"


What G-d really wants from us?

"  רַחֲצוּ, הִזַּכּוּ–הָסִירוּ רֹעַ מַעַלְלֵיכֶם, מִנֶּגֶד עֵינָי:  חִדְלוּ, הָרֵעַ. " " לִמְדוּ הֵיטֵב דִּרְשׁוּ מִשְׁפָּט, אַשְּׁרוּ חָמוֹץ; שִׁפְטוּ יָתוֹם, רִיבוּ אַלְמָנָה "

" Wash you, make you clean, put away the evil of your doings from before Mine eyes, cease to do evil; " " Learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. "

In simple words, G-d doesn\’t want our prayers and sacrifices. If we are not good to each other then no matter how much we pray, G-d will ignore and won\’t listen to us.

This prophecy tells us exactly that the important is not the prayer, but the action.

There is a little story in the Zohar about two of the students of Rabbi Shimon that visited a house and the child that was a high soul didn\’t want to greet them because he felt that they didn\’t do their morning prayer. The two great rabbis said that the child is correct and that is because they were busy with helping someone.

This teaches us that the first priority is to help people. Prayers are important for us to draw the light of the creator and be able to help others. The reward of a Mitzvah is a Mitzvah. When we do good deeds, we have the merit and opportunity to do more of them.

When we pray, we should ask G-d to give us the opportunity to help others, to be smart in order to teach and guide others, to be rich and zillionaires because we want to create more jobs and sustenance for many people and families.

When we are all thinking about each other instead of the self then (Isaiah 1:27 )

" צִיּוֹן, בְּמִשְׁפָּט תִּפָּדֶה; וְשָׁבֶיהָ, בִּצְדָקָה "

I won\’t even put the English translation because it can never reveal the power of this verse.

" צִיּוֹן " is the Light that comes from the " יה " of Holy name through the " ו " (Yesod).

When we are with justice " בְּמִשְׁפָּט " (central column), " וְשָׁב "+ " יה " is the return of the supernal Chokmah and Binah to Malchut " בִּצְדָקָה ".

These five words of verse 27 with numeric value of 1600 have the secret of the coming of Mashiach. Today, Amen.


" וְאַתֶּם, הַדְּבֵקִים, בַּיקוָה, אֱלֹהֵיכֶם–חַיִּים כֻּלְּכֶם, הַיּוֹם "

Simple explanation is that G-d is doing a favor to Moshe and let him see the land that he will not enter.
Let us examine this verse to understand the deeper meaning of why G-d did not allow Moshe to enter the Promised Land.

First, G-d say "go to the top of the mountain" "lift your eyes"… to all directions. Two elevations, one physically (to the top of the mountain) and then spiritually (lift the eyes to all directions). If you climb to the top of the mountain to see the land that you can not enter then you can look toward two or three directions but if you look toward all directions then you are already in.

G-d is actually took Moshe to a higher spiritual dimensions and showed him the future. That is why it said " וּרְאֵה בְעֵינֶיךָ: כִּי-לֹא תַעֲבֹר, אֶת-הַיַּרְדֵּן הַזֶּה. " see for your eyes that you can not cross the Jordan . G-d showed Moshe that the nation is not ready for the great revelation of light that would be revealed if Moshe entered the Land.

To understand this, I will use terms relate to electrical circuit. The land of Yisrael is not a piece of real estate, it has a unique value. It considered as the negative pole, ground, and the (-). The light is the positive charge, the (+). Connecting both closes the circuit and a flow of electrons begins. When we do spiritual connections we create a similar circuit and the light flows through us.

Moshe was at a very high state, if he were to enter the land of Yisrael it was like flipping the main switch and the full revelation of Light will occur.
The main connectors of the Light to the world are in Jerusalem . The Temple mount is the ground (-) and in the Holy of Holies is the (+) and a connection could be made to draw the Light.

The high priest used to do it once a year, during the Yom Hakipurim service. (Remember to put special focus this coming Yom Kippur to the part of the prayer that describes the service of the Kohen in the Holy of Holies).

If the nation is not ready then it is like connecting a small electrical device (like a battery operated one) to a high voltage. It could burn or damage the small device.

The people needed to build more capabilities to connect to the light. This requires work and they were not ready for that. G-d showed Moshe the process that the nation will go through in order to reach the point of full revelation of Light, the time of Mashiach.

Many righteous people that lived outside the land of Yisrael , were not allowed to come to Yisrael because of a similar reason Moshe was denied.

Great righteous people could flip the switch before the people are ready.
The Baal Shem Tov, was one, the Ari came to the Land only for a short time to transfer knowledge to Rabbi Chaim Vital, when he tried to reveal greater light, his son became ill and died. As we know The Ari died at the young age of 38. If he were to reach 40, he could have "turned on" the switch and bring the final redemption.

There are few great tzaddikim in recent generations that got hurt when they tried to come to Yisrael and expedite the coming of Mashiach.

Here is Moshe\’s prayer to G-d (Deuteronomy 3:24) " אֲדֹנָי יְקוִק, אַתָּה הַחִלּוֹתָ לְהַרְאוֹת אֶת-עַבְדְּךָ, אֶת-גָּדְלְךָ, וְאֶת-יָדְךָ הַחֲזָקָה–אֲשֶׁר מִי-אֵל בַּשָּׁמַיִם וּבָאָרֶץ, אֲשֶׁר-יַעֲשֶׂה כְמַעֲשֶׂיךָ וְכִגְבוּרֹתֶךָ "
and ( 3:25 ) " אֶעְבְּרָה-נָּא, וְאֶרְאֶה אֶת-הָאָרֶץ הַטּוֹבָה, אֲשֶׁר, בְּעֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן: הָהָר הַטּוֹב הַזֶּה, וְהַלְּבָנֹן "

Moshe start with " אֲדֹנָי יְקוִק ", which are the upper name and the lower name of G-d. " גָּדְלְךָ, וְאֶת-יָדְךָ הַחֲזָקָה ", " מִי-אֵל בַּשָּׁמַיִם וּבָאָרֶץ ", " יַעֲשֶׂה כְמַעֲשֶׂיךָ וְכִגְבוּרֹתֶךָ ", are all connection of upper and lower on different levels.

Then " הָהָר הַטּוֹב הַזֶּה ", the Temple mount in Jerusalem , and " הַלְּבָנֹן " is the Holy Temple , the upper connection. " הַלְּבָנֹן ", is numerical value of " קבלה ", Kabbalah.

The higher connection is made with the knowledge of Kabbalah. Kabbalah has more acceptances in our time and everyone is allowed to study because we are closer to the ultimate revelation of the Light.

The day that represents the full revelation of Light has the code word " הַיּוֹם ", "The Day" or "Today". Moshe reveal to the Yisraelites and to us the day of Mashiach and how to merit seeing him. (Deuteronomy 4:4) " וְאַתֶּם, הַדְּבֵקִים, בַּיקוָק, אֱלֹהֵיכֶם–חַיִּים כֻּלְּכֶם, הַיּוֹם "
" But you that did cleave unto the G-d your God are alive every one of you this day."

To merit the day we need to be as close as we can to the Light. This will sustain us alive, on the day of Mashiach.

The parasha connects us to the ten utterances (or better known as the ten commandments), which is the total connection to the Light. Also to the first verse " שְׁמַ ע , יִשְׂרָאֵל: יְקוָק אֱלֹהֵינוּ, יְקוָק אֶחָ ד " and the first chapter of the prayer of Shema Yisrael.

(Chapter 6:5) that begins with " וְאָהַבְתָּ ", "and you shall love". The highest connection to the Light is with Love.
The numerical value of " וְאָהַבְתָּ " is 414, which is equal to twice Light, " אור ". Two lights create connection of upper and lower.

Every act of love creates unity and connection to the light. " אהבה " (=13=" אחד ", one), twice = 26 = " יקוק ". There are three loves in this chapter " בְּכָל-לְבָבְךָ וּבְכָל-נַפְשְׁךָ, וּבְכָל-מְאֹדֶךָ ". Three times love " אהבה " = 39 = " טל ", "Dew". We know from the prophecy that the resurrection of the dead at the time of the final redemption will be with dew coming from the sky. That dew is the upper name " יהו " spelled in full as " יוד־הא־ואו " = 39 (10 times this = sky = " שמים "). When we connect with connect with all types of love we are able to draw the upper light.

The whole prayer of " שְׁמַע, יִשְׂרָאֵל " has 248 words and exactly 1000 letters. Just to let you know the power of this prayer.

It is simple math. The more we love, the more we connect to the light.
Loving creates affinity with the light. It is the bond that gives us life. It is the reason for the whole creation. G-d created the world with unconditional love.

We just passed the 9 th day of Av. On that day the two Holy Temples destroyed. Both times for the reason of the destruction were hatred for no reason. That goes against the essence and the reason of creation and that is why it caused the light to go away and created the opening for the negativity that followed.

The Zohar and Kabbalah reveal that G-d created the world with the name of 42 letters. The name is the first 42 letters in the 42 words prayer of the " אנא־בכח ", Ana B\’koach. The 42 letters derived from the first 42 letters of the Torah.

The first 6 letters are " אבגיתץ " and they are the inner code behind the word " בראשית ". " אבגיתץ " has the numerical value of 506 and it is equal to " אהבת־חנם ", "Unconditional Love".

Every prayer we finish with " עלינו־לשבח ", which is equal to 506. The end must connect to the beginning in order to close the "circuit" and draw the light.

In Isaiah 11:1-9, we read the prophecy on the time of the coming of Mashiach.
" וְיָצָא חֹטֶר, מִגֵּזַע יִשָׁי; וְנֵצֶר, מִשָּׁרָשָׁיו יִפְרֶה ….. " " And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a twig shall grow forth out of his roots "

" כִּי-מָלְאָה הָאָרֶץ, דֵּעָה אֶת-יְקוָק, כַּמַּיִם, לַיָּם מְכַסִּים. "
"for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."

The knowledge of G-d is " דֵּעָה אֶת-יְקוָק " = 506. The prophecy reveals that the reason for the coming of Mashiach is because the earth is full of the knowledge of G-d, which is Unconditional Love.

Knowing (= connecting) G-d is to practice unconditional love. If you can not love, in order to reveal light, at least do not hate. Hate cause disconnection and destruction.

The Talmud says that a generation that the Holy Temple in not built in their times is a generation that destroys the Temple .

Now that you have the formula to bring Mashiach, ask yourself… and ask again…

" וּבִעַרְתָּ הָרָע, מִקִּרְבֶּךָ "
" put away the evil from the midst of you "

" וּבִעַרְתָּ " "put away" appears four times in Shoftim. The Zohar brings a discussion about four ways to kill the negativity Lord (Sama–el) with a Sword, Strangulation, Stoning and with Fire.

The Zohar quotes (Isaiah 34:5) " כִּי-רִוְּתָה בַשָּׁמַיִם, חַרְבִּי; הִנֵּה עַל-אֱדוֹם תֵּרֵד " " For My sword hath drunk its fill in heaven; behold, it shall come down upon Edom ". Sama-el is the minister (" שר ") of Edom .

The sword of G-d is built from the Name " יקוָק ". The letter " י " is the head of the sword, the " ו " is the body and the two " ה "s are the two sides of the blade.

The energy is revealed with the prayer of "Shema Yisrael" (4 paragraphs of 42+72+50+72 + (12 words at the beginning) = 248 words with 1000 letters).

The Shema prayer is the most powerful tool we have to destroy the negative side. Our sages direct us that when we do not have time to pray the whole Morning Prayer then we should at least say the Shema and the Amida (The silent prayer). The Sehma destroys the negativity on our way to the higher spiritual level and the 18 blessings of the silent prayer get us to connect and draw the light we need.

The Ari explains that in the process of reincarnation we go through four types of death in order to cleanse the soul on different levels.

Now we are close to Rosh Hashanah, the two Judgment days. The negative side, our opponent, comes to court with our list of negative actions to get us in trouble and to take the beneficent of the Light that we should receive for the coming year away from us.

This parasha is always read just before the month of Elul. The month that prepares us for Rosh Hashanah. It provides us with the teaching and support system to battle and win over negativity.

" שֹׁפְטִים וְשֹׁטְרִים, תִּתֶּן-לְךָ בְּכָל-שְׁעָרֶיךָ, אֲשֶׁר יקוָק אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לְךָ "
"Judges and officers you shall make for you in all thy gates, which G-d is given you ".

Our Sages advice that the gates refer to the gates to our soul. The eyes, the ears, the mouth and the nose. The openings that connect us to the Sefirot; eyes are Chokmah, ears are Binah, nose is Zeir Anpin and mouth is Malchut.

The mouth has the power to build and kill. A wrong word at the wrong time ("Lashon Hara" "Evil Speak") can leave a scar in both sides for life, to the one that says it and the one that listens to it. Some words we have said in the past and now we regret, can never be erased unless you make a real soul cleansing and the Light allows you to forget.

The words we say to our friends or our children, especially at young age are engraved in their soul and essence. Their behavior in life is determined by the way we talked to our children at young age.

In Rosh Hashanah service there are 30 blowings of the Shofar, which are dedicated to the removal of this kind of "sin", " שפיכות־דמים " "blood shed". The soul is in the blood and when we hurt someone\’s soul it is like blood shed.

We should take our words seriously; a small joke can hurt a person for life. Bringing death on a person is a one time thing. Hurting a soul is a reoccurring event, a continuous killing of a part of a soul.

When the eyes are exposed to a negative sight, it burns the image into the soul. It could take years to erase such image. Righteous people keep their eyes down to avoid exposure to negativity and contamination of their souls. A person should look up to the sky from time to time to connect the upper and the lower.

The eyes are also known as the "window to the soul". When you look into a person\’s eyes a little longer than a brief look we can feel the other person. If you try that with different people you would immediately feel the connection, positive or negative.

We may get a "chill", become annoyed or even fall in love just because we looked into a person\’s eyes.

Similar situations happen where the ears are involved.

We learn another protection from negativity with the story of a slain that is found in the land between two cities. If the killer is not known, the judges measure the distance from the slain to the closest city.

This city is found to be responsible for the killing and it should conduct the process of cleansing from that negativity. Why does the closet city to the slain take responsibility for the removal of that negativity?

Connecting to the light increases our surrounding light. If the light is strong, it pushes away darkness to a greater distance from us.
The Zohar says, a little light pushes away a lot of darkness.
The closest city is responsible because they did not connect to the Light enough to push away negativity.
The Torah says (21:2) that the elders and the judges measure the distance. The elders come first because they symbolize the light of wisdom we have.

The Torah teaches us that we need to associate ourselves with the right people, people that are connected to the Light.

Staying close to a tzaddik, helps us during the year and especially during Rosh Hashanah when the negative side tries to get his share from us.

If we stand in court with a tzaddik next to us then it would be very hard to find our own negativity.

Watch your "gates" and be close to the Light.


" וְזֹאת הַבְּרָכָה, אֲשֶׁר בֵּרַךְ מֹשֶׁה אִישׁ הָאֱלֹקְים–אֶת-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל: לִפְנֵי, מוֹתוֹ. "
" And this is the blessing that Moses, the man of God, blessed the children of Israel before his death "

The parasha of V\’zot Haberacha is the final parasha of the Torah. Kabbalah explains that this is the level of Malchut of Malchut, which is the total manifestation of the Light.

The first verse has twelve words and it is the connection to all the blessings the Israelites received from G-d. The Zohar tells us that the first letter " ו " is the reference to Zeir Anpin, (The Light) and " זֹאת " is the reference to Malchut (the Vessel). The first word also has the numerical value of 414, which is equivalent to twice the value of the word " אור " (Light). The following 3 letters " הבר " also value to 207 = " אור ". The next two is " כה " = 25 (I\’ll explain later).

There are three streams of Lights revealed with the first 7 letters of the Parasha to bring this ultimate manifestation of the Light in balance.

In the blessings of the Kohanim (Priests in the Holy Temple), G-d is instructs the priests to bless the Israelites with the word " כֹּה " Numbers (6:23) " דַּבֵּר אֶל-אַהֲרֹן וְאֶל-בָּנָיו לֵאמֹר, כֹּה תְבָרְכוּ אֶת-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל: אָמוֹר, לָהֶם ". The seed of the blessing is in the word " כֹּה ". After that (numbers 6:24,25,26) comes the three verses that begins with the Letter " י ", " יְבָרֶכְךָ ", " יָאֵר " and " יִשָּׂא " that draws down the three levels of light for the right, left and central column.

The twelve words create the channels to the twelve tribes, and the twelve months of the year. The parasha is always read on Simchat Torah, the eighth day of Sukkoth. We know that the Eighth connects us to the level of Binah, a full revelation of light on this world.

The Ari (Rabbi Yitzchak Luria), reveals us that on that day we have a complete unification of the Light and the vessel, (Z"A and Malchut). We explained on previous commentary that when we have supernal connection of the Light and Vessel, a couple should not connect physically.

We read V\’zot Habracha and immediately after we start the reading of Bereshit (Genesis).

We make the connection from below to upper; we connect the Malchut (Deuteronomy, V\’Zot Habracha) with Keter (Genesis, The story of creation).

The sum of the first seven letters " וְזֹאת הַבְּרָ " is 621 and it equals to Keter " כתר " = 620 + 1 for the whole.

We start the New Year with the blessing of Moshe where he repeats the blessings given to the sons of Yaakov and Yosef. They are not alive at the time of the blessings but in this process, the light of the blessing is revealed and projected for the whole year.

Deuteronomy (34:6) " וַיִּקְבֹּר אֹתוֹ בַגַּי בְּאֶרֶץ מוֹאָב, מוּל בֵּית פְּעוֹר; וְלֹא-יָדַע אִישׁ אֶת-קְבֻרָתוֹ, עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה ", " And he was buried in the valley in the land of Moab over against Beth-peor; and no man knew of his burial site unto this day "

G-d is giving a personal care for Moshe upon him leaving the world. As we know from the Zohar, Moshe was at the level of Daat (the connection Sefirah of Chokmah and Binah). It is above the physical level. In Deuteronomy 31:2, Moshe is telling the Israelites " And he said unto them: \’I am a hundred and twenty years old this day; I can not go out and come in anymore; " in his preparation to transfer the leadership to Joshua . Go out and come in refers to the traveling from the physical to the spiritual in order to talk to G-d. No one could see G-d and live because to see G-d you need to be spiritual. Moshe could transform himself to go between the two dimensions.

When Moshe passed away he was in a spiritual form and therefore, no one could handle a burial for him. Moshe is actually alive and will reveal himself with the Mashiach. As we explained in previous commentary, the Word " היום " (this day) is a code word for the day Mashiach will be revealed. The verse above tells us that no one "knew" his burial site. The Torah uses past tense to tell us that we will see Moshe in the Future, which is " הַיּוֹם " (this day).

Where is Moshe Now?

The Ari (Rabbi Isaac Luria) in Shaar Halikutim , Genesis, gives some explanation about the name of 42 (Ana B\’Koach). This name created the whole world and it comes from the first 42 letters of the Torah. The first 6 letters are " אב גי תץ " are from the first word of the Torah " בְּרֵאשִׁית " "in the beginning".

The Ari says that the first two letters " אב ", in Hebrew, Father, is Moshe because he is the Father of the Torah. The next two letters, " גי " (numerical value 13) are from the verse " וַיִּקְבֹּר אֹתוֹ בַגַּי … " (Deuteronomy 34:6) for Moshe that revealed the 13 attributes (Which we read in Shabbat Chol Hamoed Sukkoth). The last two of the six " תצ " for Moshe as in (Deuteronomy 33:4) " ת ּוֹרָה צִ וָּה-לָנוּ, מֹשֶׁה ".

We see that the word " בְּרֵאשִׁית " starts with a large letter " ב ", and is spelled out as " בית ", that means house in Hebrew.

In the above verse (34:6) " וַיִּקְבֹּר אֹתוֹ בַגַּי בְּאֶרֶץ מוֹאָב, מוּל בֵּית פְּעוֹר; " we have a missing letter " א ", in the third word of the verse. The commentator "Baal Haturim" says that this letter is missing so no one can know Moshe\’s burial site. Rashi says that Moshe\’s burial site was ready from the days of creation.

We understand that there is no physical burial and Moshe\’s soul is where G-d placed him.

The Torah scroll written on 248 columns that each one of them start with the letter " ו ", except for six places and the different letters are " ביהשמו ". We see the letters of Moshe\’s name in the Middle. The numerical value is equivalent to " משה־חי ", (Moshe is alive), also equal to " המשיח ", (The Mashiach).

My friend, Ezra, pointed to me that the numerical value in (34:6) of " בַגַּי בְּאֶרֶץ מוֹאָב " is equal to 357 and when we add 1 for the missing letter " א " we get 358, which is the numerical value for " משיח " (Mashiach).

Rabbi Avraham Abulafia refers to the verse in Genesis 1:2, " וְרוּחַ אֱלֹהִים, מְרַחֶפֶת עַל-פְּנֵי הַמָּיִם ", " and the spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters " and says that the spirit of G-d is the spirit of Mashiach hovering over the water.

The Torah is water and the spirit of G-d, the Mashiach is the letters of " ביהשמו " that is like hovering over the Torah and it represents the spirit of Mashiach.

The sages said that Moshe is the first redeemer and will be the last redeemer. We know that Moshe is alive and he holds the spirit of Mashiach. Let us pray that he will reveal himself with the Mashiach, Today, Amen.
